W.A.Y. Community Services Centre is a credible, community-based organization dedicated to advancing the economic and social well-being of women and youth across:

  • Peel Region (Brampton, Caledon, Mississauga)
  • Halton Region (Milton, Oakville, Burlington, Halton Hills)
  • Waterloo / Kitchener Region

Since our founding in 2017, we have been committed to removing systemic barriers that limit progress. We work to expand access to high-quality training, meaningful employment pathways, and dynamic leadership development opportunities.

At our core, we believe that when women and youth are empowered, entire communities flourish. Our programs help foster entrepreneurship, strengthen workforce readiness, and promote financial independence-creating lasting social and economic impact across all regions we serve.

Our mission is to improve quality of life and expand pathways to success by providing programs and support that promote housing stability, economic independence, and personal resilience. We empower women, youth, and families through accessible services that strengthen both individuals and communities.

We create practical pathways that lead to economic independence, inspire innovation, and support long-term career and business success. Every program we offer is designed to equip participants with the skills, confidence, and networks they need to turn ambition into achievement.

What We Do and Our Impact

W.A.Y. operates with strong governance and a hands-on approach rooted in accountability, community engagement, and inclusive growth. Our programs are evidence-based and designed to meet the real needs of residents across:

Trained and mentored more than 500 participants, equipping them with employability, business, and leadership skills.

Supported the development of new micro-enterprises, helping aspiring entrepreneurs launch and grow their businesses.

Built a strong network of community and institutional partners, enabling comprehensive wrap-around support.

Expanded access to quality employment and entrepreneurship pathways, opening doors to life-changing opportunities.

Developed programs based on evidence and community needs, ensuring relevance, impact, and long-term success.

Our Strategic Priorities (2025–2030)

As we plan for the future, our goal is to evolve into a regional hub for innovation, skills advancement, and enterprise leadership by 2030. To achieve this vision, we have set clear priorities that will guide our growth.

1. Build Our Organization

We will strengthen our institutional capacity through effective governance, skilled staffing, strategic partnerships, and sustainable revenue models. A strong foundation will allow us to scale our programming, enhance service delivery, and reach more individuals across Peel Region, Halton Region, and Waterloo / Kitchener Region.

2. Improve Our Services

We will expand vocational and entrepreneurship training programs, focusing on high-demand sectors such as healthcare, insurance, and beauty. New curriculum pathways will support advanced skills training, workforce development, and business incubation-ensuring participants are prepared for the jobs and opportunities of the future.
